Budgets & Boards is committed to providing finance, management, and governance support for community organisations. We understand the importance of accessibility and do our best to make our services accessible to all, including people with disabilities. It is our priority to ensure that our resources and support are available to everyone, regardless of their abilities.

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

This statement reflects our ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility for all individuals. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our services for people with disabilities. Our goal is to ensure that everyone can access and benefit from our resources, regardless of their physical or cognitive abilities, and will do what is reasonable to achieve this within the resources of our small business.

What we do for accessibility

At Budgets & Boards, we strive to create an inclusive environment by ensuring that our online platforms and various resources are accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Our accessibility initiatives

We have implemented various accessibility adjustments to our online platforms to ensure a seamless experience for all users. Our efforts include using the Accessibility Wizard to identify and address potential accessibility issues, providing clear heading structures and clear fonts, avoiding jargon, adding alternative text to images, and optimizing colour combinations for improved contrast.

  • We are committed to maintaining and improving the accessibility of our digital resources to meet the diverse needs of our community organisations.

Declaration of commitment

We are dedicated to achieving and maintaining accessibility compliance across all our platforms. However, certain third-party content may impact the accessibility of specific pages. In such cases, we declare partial compliance and are actively working to address these limitations.

Our physical accessibility arrangements

In addition to our digital efforts, we implement accessibility arrangements in our in-person workshops and meetings to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access our in-person services.  We ask you to assist us with achieving this by advising us of any special needs prior to meetings and workshops.
